Microsoft Vista Service Pack Out For PC Gamer

PC gamers currently using Windows Vista will be able to install the first service pack early next year after Microsoft announced plans for its release.

The first service pack, according to Microsoft, will improve the operating system's security, reliability and performance.

However, the firm also stated that the pack will not add any major features to Vista and that it will be less significant than those released for XP, adding it can now send out patches and fixes through online updates.

Microsoft also stated that the third service pack for its best-selling Windows XP operating system will be launched in the coming weeks.
