Hyundai is More Than A Car

You’ve seen their cars, you might even drive one. Yet you’ve probably never considered using a Hyundai mobile phone. But the company is entering the UK mobile phone market, and plans to have between 3-5% of it within five years – some high ambitions for an already crowded field.

The move comes after agreements were put in place with major German, Austrian and Slovenian networks with Hyundai Mobile UK now basing itself in Oxfordshire and setting up its warehousing and logistics facility for Blighty and Ireland. Clearly a deal with one network or other is imminent.

"Hyundai is one of the five biggest car manufacturers and is ranked 72nd in the world's most valuable brands, which is bound to provide a positive image transfer to Hyundai mobiles," commented Norbert Winkler, the CEO of Hyundai Mobile Europe
